Welcome to the German Pavilion 

For the German manufacturers of bakery machines, confectionery machines and ovens, Russia has been the most important export market for years now. Most of them can look back on a long tradition of doing business in Russia and are represented by agencies or subsidiaries. The Russian market for baked products and confectionery is still growing, in particular in the high quality product segments and the demand for high-tech and customized solutions is still high. 

In 2011 German deliveries of bakery and confectionery machines to Russia increased by 22 percent and amounted to 75 million Euro. In 2012 this positive development seems to continue.

To reach potential business partners and to strengthen existing contacts it is necessary for German companies to be present in Russia. An outstanding opportunity for that is the participation in fairs and exhibitions. For that, VDMA requested for the sixth time an Official German Participation for the Modern Bakery, the most important international exhibition in this field in Russia.
